design process

• Materials

  Leather
  -Designers directly choose the top-grade leather to make the best quality shoes.
  Stitch
  -Every process is 100% handwork by the top artisans of shoes with 30 years of experience and therefore shoes are highly durable.
  Leather Sole
  -Shoes are made of leather soles directly imported from Italy, thin leather, and Vibram soles and thus the shoes are highly flexible and comfortable.
  

• Making Process

  Design
  -Eirene develops design that can deliver Eirene's unique brand color.
  Material
  -Every material in use goes through independent production processes and is from strictly selected imported materials.
  Research
  -Eirene conducts various researches to create Eirene's own color by reflecting consumers' needs and trends.
  Sample
  -For confirmed designs and colors, Eirene produces a limited amount of products by performing various tests through sample production.
  Manufacturing
  -Eirene releases verified products only by conducting tests and final correction process before production.
  Data
  -When products are on sale, Eirene collects various consumers' reactions and reflects as much as possible in the next production.

Italy Vagatable Leather

• Outer leather of Eirene's handmade shoes is of
  premium Italian Buttero vagetable tanned leather.

  Buttero is leather processed by WALPIER TANNERY in Italy.
  “WALPIER” continues leather processing business
  through three generations since founding a company named Tannery in 1973,
  specialized in treating and processing only 100% original leather imported from France.
  Tannery is also registered in the VERA PELLE Association and
  vegetable leather processing technique from rich experience,
  adopting traditional methods, is recognized as the best in Italy.

  Italian vegetable leather which is known to be the most expensive leather of
  all goes tanned gradually as time passes
  so you can experience the grace of genuine leather.

• Eirene's handmade shoes are meticulously touched even on the inside.

  Internal leather of Eirene's handmade shoes is of premium cattle leather from Italy and therefore has the best quality.

Italy Leather Sole & Welt

• "Eirene's leather soles are incomparable with other leather soles."

  Eirene respectfully refuses the comparison between Eirene's leather soles and
  other leather soles only made up of leather.
  Eirene's Italian leather soles made of premium Italian leather are designed
  with the same stitch details as those in handmade shoes
  from foreign luxury brands and therefore they show another level of completion
  that cannot be imitated by other handmade shoe brands.

• Eirene only uses verified authentic outsoles through a formal contract with VIBRAM, a brand specialized in premium outsoles.
  Outsoles whose authenticity is verified by VIBRAM include an authentication certificate (leaflet).

Bologna Black Line

• Bologna technique originated from the northern part of Italy
  which is the birthplace of leather products is characterized by sewing up lining
  through to the front part to the bottom in direct contact with the sole of foot
  and outsole together with upper leather and Bologna stitch.
  It is a high-level shoe-making technique
  that only the top foreign luxury brands use and only a few artisans
  in Korea can use.
  
  Eirene Bologna Black Line is a technique of stitching lining in direct contact
  with foot and outsole with a specially designed leather bag with air at the front
  and a solid liner at the back to maintain the balance of weight,
  placed between the lining and outsole. This manufacturing process is as complicated as that of bespoke suit
  and is an extremely hard work that can only be performed by an artisan
  who is able to use Bologna technique and is very difficult to handle.
